Connection guide · 3 steps

Set up Claude

  1. 1

    Open Claude’s Connectors panel

Open Claude → Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.

    Detailed instructions

On claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Customize → Connectors, click the “+” next to Connectors, then Add custom connector.

Available on Free and paid Claude plans; Free allows one custom connector. Team and Enterprise owners must enable a connector for their organization first. Start setup on web or desktop.

  2. 2

    Add Ezy·it

Paste these details, then connect your Ezy·it account.

    NameEzy·it

Check my Ezy·it profile and credits, then find five matching jobs. Don’t queue any applications.

You should see your Ezy·it account info and job results.

No extra MCP connection fee. Your AI app’s plan and usual Ezy·it credits apply.

Which Ezy·it account will it use?

The Ezy·it account you sign in to during connection supplies your profile, resume, credits, and applications. Its email can differ from your AI app’s email. Review the permissions before approving; to use another Ezy·it account, disconnect and reconnect with that account. Connecting in one AI app does not connect the others automatically.

Sign in only on Ezy·it’s authorization page, review access, and never paste your password into chat.

Permissions and costs

Read permissions let the selected AI app access your Ezy·it profile, job results, credits, and application status. Resume access allows it to read resume content; tailoring and application-queue permissions enable those additional actions. The consent screen shows the exact access being requested.

Ezy·it adds no separate MCP connection fee. Your AI app’s subscription and usage limits still apply, alongside your usual Ezy·it plan and credit rules. Connecting does not unlock paid features or give you extra application credits.

What can I do? What uses credits?
  • Find your next role

Search Ezy·it’s job listings, open job details, and check your profile readiness and credits.

  • Make your resume relevant

Tailor your resume for a job with a description. Tailored content is returned to the conversation; it is not automatically saved as your profile resume.

  • Keep track of applications

Queue selected jobs with your confirmation and track their application status. Queuing requires Ezy Agent access, a ready profile, and credits; each newly queued job uses one credit.

For students: the current application-readiness check requires at least one work-experience entry. If you have none, you can still connect, search, and tailor your resume, but application queuing will remain blocked. Only include experience you actually have.

Queued means added to the agent’s work list. Submission depends on your consent, application settings, and the job site. Review and approval steps happen in the Ezy·it dashboard. This connector does not control Ezy Agent, which applies from your own Chrome.

Connection help and disconnecting

If sign-in fails, check connection availability above, retry authentication, and confirm your organization allows custom connectors. If tools are missing, enable Ezy·it in the conversation and verify the granted permissions.

For a long-running resume request in Codex, use the timeout setting in the Codex CLI instructions. Reconnect if your session has expired.

For ChatGPT, keep Developer mode enabled and select Ezy·it in the new conversation. Open the connection in Settings → Connectors (or Apps) and use Refresh if the tool list is outdated. A missing Developer mode option can reflect your plan or workspace policy.

For Gemini, a missing Custom apps for Spark section usually means the account does not meet Google’s requirements above. For Perplexity, check your plan and organization settings if + Custom connector is missing; use OAuth and Streamable HTTP when retrying setup.

Manage Claude connections in Customize → Connectors and ChatGPT connections in Settings → Connectors (or Apps). For Gemini, open Connected Apps → Ezy·it → More details → Disconnect to unlink the account; turning the app off alone is different from unlinking. In Perplexity, use the Ezy·it card’s ⋮ menu in Connectors to modify or remove it. For Codex CLI, codex mcp logout ezyit clears its saved login.

Disconnecting does not cancel already queued applications; manage those in your Ezy·it dashboard.

If the app only gives general career advice, ask it to use Ezy·it and check that the connection is enabled.
