Privacy Policy

Your data, handled carefully.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This policy explains what Ezy·it (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it — both on this website and through the Ezy·it Sync Chrome extension. It is written for our India service. We collect only what we need to apply for jobs on your behalf, and we never sell your data.

1. Who this covers

People who create an Ezy·it account, use the dashboard, or install the Ezy·it Sync browser extension to have job applications filled in their own browser.

2. What we collect

  • Profile and resume data you give us: name, email, phone, resume/CV, work history, education, skills, job preferences, other details application forms ask for (such as address, date of birth or ID numbers, if you add them), and answers you choose to save for reuse. This is the information used to fill application forms.
  • Application activity: which jobs you applied to, the status of each application, and records of what was submitted on your behalf.
  • Application form data from the extension: the questions on each application form you start, the choices offered, the values already in each field, the answers you type, and the employer’s confirmation message after a submission (details in section 3).
  • Employer-site sign-in (optional): an email and password you save for career sites that need an account, such as Workday, and any new password we set when the extension resets yours on such a site (section 3). We store passwords encrypted.
  • A mailbox you connect (optional): if you connect Gmail, we read recent job-related emails, such as sign-in codes and messages from hiring sites, to fill those codes and keep your applications up to date.
  • Your LinkedIn profile text (only when you ask): see section 3.
  • Account and technical data: login/authentication tokens, basic device and browser information, and cookies. Non-essential analytics cookies are set only if you grant consent.
  • Extension diagnostics: reliability signals about how a form behaved — which form controls the extension saw, whether filling and submission worked, timings, error types, and the extension version.

3. How the Ezy·it Sync extension works

Where it runs

  • Chrome runs it only on the job-application and applicant-tracking sites it lists (for example Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, Keka, Zoho Recruit and Internshala), on www.linkedin.com, and on the Ezy·it website. It does not run on other websites and does not read your browsing history.
  • On the Ezy·it website it picks up your Ezy·it sign-in so it works for your account. It does not read or send the cookies of any website.
  • It reads and fills an application form only after you start that application — from your dashboard, from the “Apply with Ezy” button on the page, or by asking Ezy·it in chat. While Chrome is open it checks our backend about once a minute for applications you asked Ezy·it to start. On Internshala it also reads your Internshala resume and, when you ask it to find matches, your Internshala profile and job listings (see below).

What it sends to us

  • The form: each question’s label, the choices offered, and the value currently in each field, so we can work out the answers. These values can include what the employer’s site filled in and your answers to optional questions such as diversity or disability self-identification.
  • Your answers: when you answer a question in the Ezy panel, or change a field while the form is handed back to you, your answer is sent to us so the application can finish, and it is saved to your saved answers for next time.
  • The result: after a submission, the confirmation message the employer shows, so we can record that the application went through.
  • Internshala: when you apply on Internshala, it reads your own Internshala resume page while you are signed in there (name, email, phone, city and resume text) and sends it to us, so the answers match the account you apply with. When you ask Ezy·it to find Internshala matches, it opens Internshala in a background tab, reads your Internshala profile, preferences and job listings, and sends them to us to pick the jobs.
  • Diagnostics: the reliability signals described in section 2.

Signing in to employer sites

  • Some career sites need an account. If you saved an employer-site sign-in, the extension fills that email and password to sign in to, or create, your account on that site, and fills the one-time code from the site’s verification email. We find that code in your Ezy·it apply inbox or in a mailbox you connected.
  • To understand what a sign-in page is asking, it sends us the page’s sign-in message, with your email and password removed.
  • If signing in fails on a site where this is supported (Workday, SuccessFactors), it can reset your password there to a new one we generate, using the site’s password-reset email. We store the new password encrypted, like a saved one.
  • It never solves CAPTCHAs. A CAPTCHA, or anything it is unsure about, is handed back to you.

Submitting

  • It never submits an application unless you chose automatic submission and signed the Delegated Authority Agreement. Otherwise, and on sites we keep review-only, it fills the form and hands it to you to review and submit yourself.

LinkedIn (only when you tap)

  • When you tap to import your LinkedIn profile in Ezy·it, the extension opens your own LinkedIn profile, reads its visible text once, saves it to your Ezy·it account, and closes the tab. We use it to suggest improvements to your profile.
  • When you choose to fill a suggestion, it opens your profile and shows the suggested text. It puts the text into LinkedIn’s own editor only when you click Fill; you review it and click Save on LinkedIn yourself.
  • It does not post, comment, send messages, or read your feed or other people’s profiles.

Who receives this data

  • Our backend (Ezy·it’s servers), which stores it in your account.
  • The employer’s site you are applying to: the answers and resume filled into its form, and the sign-in details for your account there.
  • LinkedIn: only the suggested text you choose to fill into your own profile editor.
  • Logo services (logo.dev and Google): to show an employer’s logo, the Ezy panel loads it from them, so they see that company’s web address and your IP address.
  • AI providers (OpenAI), which draft answers to application questions from the form text and your profile, and read employer sign-in messages.

4. Why we use your data

  • To fill and (when you authorize it) submit the job applications you choose.
  • To sign in to the employer sites those applications need, when you saved a sign-in for them.
  • To suggest improvements to your LinkedIn profile, when you ask.
  • To operate your account, provide support, and process billing.
  • To keep the service reliable — diagnostics tell us when a form type stops working so we can fix it.

We rely on your consent and on performing the service you asked for. For applications submitted on your behalf, the scope is set by the Delegated Authority Agreement you sign, which you can review or withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share it with

  • The employer’s own application form — this is the destination of every application, by your action. Your details go into their applicant-tracking system, governed by their privacy policy.
  • AI providers — OpenAI drafts answers to application questions from the form text and your profile, reads employer sign-in messages, and powers resume tailoring and LinkedIn profile suggestions.
  • Email connection — if you connect Gmail through Composio, Composio fetches recent job-related emails for us so we can find employer sign-in codes and keep your applications up to date.
  • Service providers (sub-processors) who host our systems, store data, deliver email, and process payments. Our current list — including each provider’s purpose and region — is on our Data Processing page.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for unrelated purposes or hand it to advertisers.

6. Where your data is stored

Our India service stores data with our database and hosting providers (see the Data Processing page for regions). Some providers process data outside India; where that happens we rely on the safeguards described there.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account, profile, and application data: for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution reasons.
  • Raw extension diagnostics: retained for about 90 days; aggregated reliability statistics may be kept longer.

8. Your choices and rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. You can edit or delete most of your data yourself from your account settings, or contact us to make a request. You can also uninstall the extension at any time, which stops it from reading or sending anything.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, employer-site passwords you save are stored encrypted, and access is restricted to what each part of the service needs. The extension sends your data to our backend, to the employer site you are applying to and, when you choose Fill, to LinkedIn. To show company logos, the Ezy panel loads them from logo.dev and Google.

10. Children

The service is for adults seeking employment and is not directed at children.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date above, and where appropriate notify you in the product.
