“How did you hear about us?” asks where you found the job, so the employer knows which channels bring applicants; it is usually a list.
Forms ask it as: How did you hear about us?
How forms ask it
- A list such as LinkedIn, the company's job site, Naukri, Instahyre, IIM Jobs, Glassdoor or Others (one Lever form we saw).
- Categories with sub-choices, such as Job Board, Social Media, University or Website (Workday).
- An Other option followed by a text box.
How to answer it
- Pick the option that is true: where you actually saw the job.
- If you saw it on the employer's careers site, choose the company website or careers site option.
- Use a referral option only if an employee really referred you, and name them only with their agreement.
How Ezy Agent answers it
Ezy Agent uses your own saved answer first. With none, for an application opened through Ezy·it it picks the list's Ezy·it row if there is one, otherwise Other or a general job-board option; never a referral, agency or social network. A typed source box is left for you.
More on what Ezy Agent fills and when it asks you is on How it works; packs and prices are on Pricing.
