The steps
- Open the job on the employer's Greenhouse job board; the application form is on the same page.
- Fill your name, email, phone, country and location, and attach your resume (and a cover letter if asked).
- Answer the employer's questions, such as current country, visa sponsorship for the job's country, or whether you have worked there before.
- Some employers add voluntary self-identification questions; each has a decline option.
- Press Submit application.
Common traps
- Dropdowns are searchable lists, not plain selects: type and pick the exact option.
- Location is a typeahead; pick a suggestion so it is accepted.
- Visa and work-authorisation questions refer to the job's country, which may not be India.
